News & Events New Faces at CLR
On March 1st, 2018 2 new talents joined the Association. Please help us welcome the following new staff:
Steve Clark, Director, Labour Relations
Mr. Clark will be assuming responsibility for the Industrial/Mechanical contracts, currently assigned to Clyde Scollan and Mike Zaine. With over 20 years of LR/HR and general management experience, Mr. Clark has negotiated agreements in both the private and public sector, in industries such as hazardous materials abatement, demolition, consumer packaged goods and waste management. He is a graduate of the University of Victoria and holds the Certified Professional in Human Resources designation.
Chris Mydske, Director, Labour Relations
Chris comes to CLR with an extensive background in Labour Relations. He spent the last 11 years working for Loblaws in multiple, progressively senior Labour Relations roles. Over his tenure with Loblaws he has developed extensive experience in Collective Bargaining, representing the Employer in numerous sets of negotiations with multiple unions in the retail industry. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC in 2003. He received a Diploma in Human Resource Management from BC in 2006 before beginning his career in Labour Relations.
